PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS

Success begins with separating yourself from the average and second-rate. Influence is when other people change their priorities for yours. The reason why we focus on success is that success brings influence. You will never be successful until you have influence, and you will never be able to have influence until you have success. Anyone who wants to be successful must break the rules.
Everyone wants to be successful, and success is predictable as well as failure. Everything in life is designed to function by laws and laws make life predictable. God designed our lives to be successful. Success is not a pursuit rather it is a process. It is a result of obedience to a law which happens to be a by-product of activity. This has more to do with moving in the right direction.

Success is not what you have done compared to what others have done because you can always find somebody who is less than you or better than you. It is compared or measured to what you were created to do. It is the fulfillment of the original assignment and purpose for which one is created to effectuate. So, a person’s life is measured by the intention God created him and not by what he has done. In other words, a person can be a complete failure while people are applauding him/her for being successful.

Principles are the key to life and effective living. How principle protects purpose and potential. Everything in life was created for a purpose with the potential to operate by a principle. Purpose cause creation to happen. Wherever there is purpose without potential produces frustration. It is not enough to know your purpose and potential, but everybody needs principles in other not to abuse the potential. The most dangerous individuals are those with no principles to protect them from harming others with their position, potential, and purpose.

There is a big difference between your job and your work. Your job is what they pay you to do, and your work is what you were born to do. Your job gives you finances, and your work gives you fulfillment. Your job is your skill while your work is your gift. They can take away your job, but they cannot take away your work. If the environment is right, a person's purpose becomes like a seed growing into a tree; you cannot stop it.
