Before we define the benefits of joy in the life of a child of God.
It is important to know that joy is not the same thing as happiness. Joy is a
non-negotiable and irreplaceable asset in the life of every believer. We must
understand that the enemy can only keep what belongs to you if they can steal
your joy. The joy of the Lord is our survival strategy in a world of
negativity, sadism, and pessimism. One of the profits of joy is that it gives
one access to what money, education, or connection cannot give us. If we check
our world today, there are many Ph.D. holders that are without joy and very
miserable. Joy also establishes the presence of God around the life of the saint
(Psalm 16:11). The joy of the Lord is the antidote for the dark climate of
gloominess on the earth (Isaiah 61:3).
A GUIDE TO AVOIDING JOY-STEALING SITUATIONS
- As you put your trust in God and give Him everything. Relax because this is proof of your trust in Him. The knowledge that the enemy will want to emerge as soon as one is making progress will help you to remain calm and realize that a mighty hand is raising a standard against him and his cohorts.
- Joy and peace, which is the absence of tension, disturbance, and crisis only happen in a climate of justice, fairness, and equity.
- It is not possible for peace and tranquility to exist in certain conditions and extreme abnormalities.
- There can be no peace in the face of oppression and subjugation of one person by another.
- There can be no peace in the face of tribalism, regionalism, nepotism, and every form of prejudice.
- There can be no peace amid deprivation, poverty, and hunger.
- There can be no peace in the face of deception, falsehood, and where people are untrue to others.
- It is impossible to find peace if people are not doing the right thing or if there is indiscretion at every level, as well as when people assume people they are dealing with are taught not to think or to be wise.
- There can be no peace where people act as if they have no conscious- behaving in the absence of the fear of God.
